||Functional Neurosurgery for Parkinson's Disease
The talk will include what deep brain stimulation (DBS) is all about, the selection criteria, an overview of results worldwide, and Dr. Ian Low's personal experience of doing DBS at Queen's Hospital in London.

Dr. Ian Low MSc FRCS(SN), obtained his medical degree from Queen's University, Belfast, did research at the Institute of Neurology, London and received his neurosurgical training in England and Wales. He spent a year in Vancouver, Canada completing a specialist fellowship in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery. His major interests are functional neurosurgery for movement disorders and the surgical management of brain tumours
